Sonaca Montréal inaugurated on December 11, in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), a new machine for high-speed machining of large-format aircraft parts, Liné Machines Powermill V, fully developed in Quebec, which allowed it to get a new contract with Boeing last summer. Fully automated, it allows the manufacture of more complex parts and works up to three times faster, said Sonaca Montreal CEO Sylvain Bédard.

Terry Moody, Director of the Metal Cutting | Composites activity of Fives, Guy Lalonde, CEO of Fives Liné Machines and its teams based in Granby, took part in this inauguration alongside Bernard Delvaux, CEO of Sonaca Group, Sylvain Bédard, CEO of Sonaca Montréal and Dominique Anglade, Deputy Premier; Minister of Economy, Science and Innovation and Minister responsible for the Digital Strategy of Qebec, Canada.
